The 2016 FICCO Education Committee (EDCOM) Forum was held on December 3, 2016, at the Lambago Hall of N Hotel in Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City. The 2016 version of this annual event drew 362 EDCOM volunteers from the different FICCO branches all over the country.

Part I of the forum proper started off with a talk on “the Need for Insurance” by Roy Miclat, President of Coop Insurance System of the Philippines (CISP). This was followed by a talk on “Volunteerism” by the 45-year veteran on FICCO Volunteerism, Isagani Daba. Jennifer Erana then gave the latest updates on the Fee-Based Products of FICCO so that the attendees can incorporate these in their Pre-Membership Seminars. The Open Forum that followed the talks was highlighted by the interesting discussions and interactions among the EdCom volunteers as informed and well-founded ideas, feedback, and comments were provided in answer to questions put on the floor.

Part II of the forum included dinner, presentations, surprise numbers, raffle, parlor games, zumba for all, and community singing.

The fun-filled evening was gamely hosted by Vidie Victor Lumacang and Cronie Kaye Fabe.
