This technology was successfully piloted in Maranding, Lanao del Norte. One of the objectives of this program is to promote organic farming. Thirty-four farmers were trained under the program. They attested that even without the use of fertilizers and pesticides, significant improvement in the farm yield was observed. Due to the positive result of the said program, FICCO aims to setup its own Agricultural Division which will handle the Rice Duck Farming activity and other feasible agriculture-related ventures. FICCO also aims to replicate the Rice Duck Farming to other areas to help farmers increase their yields. Related to this, FICCO, in cooperation with FCOF, aims to establish a hatchery in 2019.
